I'm so happy to say that this year, I genuinely did focus on taking care of myself more. I'm totally guilty of neglecting my feelings and thoughts to help others with theirs, but guess what?! I'm important too.

Today was a long day, let's just say I had a light-bulb moment for this post, Why not put it up before I sleep?
Here we go!

The Journey of self discovery and love for me, has not been the easiest. If you follow this blog, I've been talking about how to treat yourself (Read HERE ) and Why You Deserve To Treat Yourself (Read HERE)  And trust me when I say, those posts received a lot of positive response and I hope this helps too.

2017 is almost over and it's very important to reflect on your Lessons and better yourself in the forthcoming year. I feel like, these festive seasons puts a lot of pressure on people that you tend to neglect yourself. People get so carried away trying to pull up and perform their best in front of family., thereby ignoring the real reason... Love.

I mean how would you love those around you if you don't love yourself? I totally believe that we're only able to give when we have a balanced amount of love and care for ourselves.
These are 3 Self-love tips I learned in 2017 because Self love is such an important topic and it can't be talked about enough.

• Disconnect To Reconnect

When was the last time you were still? When was the last time you were able to kick back and relax without the constant distraction?
One of the major things I learnt this year, is to put the phone down (or off) and enjoy the moment. It’s honestly refreshing to disconnect from the internet and social media, Not easy but totally worth it!


• Take The Leap

Firsts aren’t so bad. Do things you’d usually not do ; Take a spin class, try a vegan meal, go the the club alone. There’s no better experience.
You don’t have to skydive to do things you’re scared of!


• Know When To Leave Your Comfort Zone

I know have easy it is to let go, but knowing when to take charge of things is very important.
Don't get too comfortable.

Please Remember, it’s okay to not always be on a1 peak performance. It’s totally okay to shut down and rewind, live certain moments. I hope these tips helps you as much as it did me.

I like to think i was lucky because my first time at a Fashion Show was as an intern to a stylist. I went to the shows with her, got tickets on the days she wasn't attending and I made friends.

Hi Everybody and my glazed lovers.
Its officially the beginning of the Fashion Week Season in Lagos, Nigeria.
Today marks the beginning of the famous Lagos Fashion And Design Week and everybody is in town for this! Literally Everybody.

Here are 5 tips to apply as a fashion week rookie (I'm definitely going to use these valuable tips)

1. Wear What You Have
Except you're a celeb or basically a rich fella that Shopping for fashion week isn't much of a big deal for you.
But, if you're neither, stick with what you have. There's nothing worse than waking up and discovering you went bankrupt or you're in debt trying to "fit in". Send those oufits to the Dry Cleaners and let them give it some TLC. Its really confidence that matters.

2. Take Pictures 
There's nothing worse than not documenting your First Fashion Show. Stop a random stranger and "beg" to have pictures taken. Better still, Arrive early enough to be captured by street style paparazzi, It doesn't hurt to feel like Kim K for a day or three (Don't forget to stalk that photographer for your pictures).

3. Go With Your Best Buddies
There's this confidence that comes with been with your partner or partners in "crime", #SquadGoals?! Go with your most stylish friends, walk in a group and Slay!

4. Eat!!!
This was one thing I forgot to do before attending a show. You don't know what designer you get to fall in love with and you decide to stay 'till the end.
Get a sandwich or two, maybe three and enjoy. You don't want to be like me, last year, driving around Lagos looking for food after Mai Atafo's exhibition ended at 1am.

5. Attend Workshops 
I'm not sure if the "fashion week workshops" happens at every fashion week around the world. As much as I know of, There are a few classes or workshops going on at Lagos Fashion And Design Week and GTBank Fshn Wknd, that you can attend and learn from.
What better way than to leave a fashion show with all the pizzaz and drama, inspired.

I'm currently happy, positive, loving myself and at peace and I felt "why not share this in a personal post?".

Its been a while since i shared anything personal and the blog has been on an impromptu break but you seem to enjoy the others I've written.  

Hi Everybody and my glazed lovers.  Happy Tuesday.

So, Enough Chit-chatting, and lets jump right into it (Don't break your teeth tho! You get me?).

Lets start with the most obvious, If you are a regular visitor, You'll notice that Bronzed Out has a new look. I thought a more simpler and minimalist design will be lovely. so. the mobile version appears different.

Although, This remains a work in progress as i am still trying to play around with the Navigation bar. Hopefully, i get it sorted soon

Secondly, Shall we discuss my not so perf post schedule. This takes me back to when this blog first starte, I made sure i posted daily for that month. Sadly, Adulthood has crept in, I work 10 hours Monday to Friday  and 7 hours on Saturdays limiting my rest day ( I legit spend the whole of Sunday in bed). Im trying to put up at least 3 posts a week (so help me God!). Hopefully, I get better this month.

All in all, I'm in a really good place right now and excited for what's to come especially now that the blog is 6 months, I'm elated to have this platform to reach out to you beautiful people. Thank you again for reading and Subscribing. Let's forget the lovelies that keep reachimg out about how much this blog has helped them.

Let me fill you in on what Mai Saa Northern spa is all about and why I'm so excited about it.
