Hi Everybody and my glazed lovers. How's everyone doing?

Finally, the whole buzz from the fashion week and weekend has died down and all we're left with are memories and of course,  trying to get pictures off the street style photographers and media houses.

The GTBank Fashion Weekend was one I was absolutely looking forward to, here's why Miss Jay was supposed to teach a masterclass ( I'm not sure why I said "supposed to" because that sure as hell happened).

I like to think i was lucky because my first time at a Fashion Show was as an intern to a stylist. I went to the shows with her, got tickets on the days she wasn't attending and I made friends.

Its officially the beginning of the Fashion Week Season in Lagos, Nigeria.
Today marks the beginning of the famous Lagos Fashion And Design Week and everybody is in town for this! Literally Everybody.

Here are 5 tips to apply as a fashion week rookie (I'm definitely going to use these valuable tips)

1. Wear What You Have
Except you're a celeb or basically a rich fella that Shopping for fashion week isn't much of a big deal for you.
But, if you're neither, stick with what you have. There's nothing worse than waking up and discovering you went bankrupt or you're in debt trying to "fit in". Send those oufits to the Dry Cleaners and let them give it some TLC. Its really confidence that matters.

2. Take Pictures 
There's nothing worse than not documenting your First Fashion Show. Stop a random stranger and "beg" to have pictures taken. Better still, Arrive early enough to be captured by street style paparazzi, It doesn't hurt to feel like Kim K for a day or three (Don't forget to stalk that photographer for your pictures).

3. Go With Your Best Buddies
There's this confidence that comes with been with your partner or partners in "crime", #SquadGoals?! Go with your most stylish friends, walk in a group and Slay!

4. Eat!!!
This was one thing I forgot to do before attending a show. You don't know what designer you get to fall in love with and you decide to stay 'till the end.
Get a sandwich or two, maybe three and enjoy. You don't want to be like me, last year, driving around Lagos looking for food after Mai Atafo's exhibition ended at 1am.

5. Attend Workshops 
I'm not sure if the "fashion week workshops" happens at every fashion week around the world. As much as I know of, There are a few classes or workshops going on at Lagos Fashion And Design Week and GTBank Fshn Wknd, that you can attend and learn from.
What better way than to leave a fashion show with all the pizzaz and drama, inspired.

From What i've noticed, most bloggers work full time jobs completely unrelated to their various niches.

Happy Wednesday! So, the gloomy weather is back and its really annoying.
I just got the job position at an amazing online fashion brand as a fashion intern and trust me when i say all my hours are taken up, meaning I work during the day and my nights ( and weekends) are taken up with blog related stuff or trying to catch up o my social life thats totally lagging behind.
When i started blogging, I had a lot of free time at home so, it was really easy to achieve that 1-post-a-day mark i made for myself.
Finding the motivation to go ahead and blog after a long stressful day especially with the terrible  daily Lagos traffic can be very frustrating.
Here are three ways to run a blog with a full time job without losing your mind, yes, its possible!

1. Work With Your Schedule
Obviously, The days are taken up by work, I left nights or those long hours in traffic for writing and coming up with blog post ideas.
Now that i've decided to make Bronzed Out more personal style oriented meaning i'd have regular photoshoots and all that good stuff. Its important to incorporate photo shoots, blog posting, link ups, and networking into your daily life finding a way to split the days between play time, blog time and work time.

2. Take Up Blogging As An Hobby - And Enjoy It!
When blogging begins to look like a job when you actually have one, it becomes very overwhelming. Think of your blog and everything as your me-time, be creative, play around, learn new skills, network and socialize, the point is enjoy yourself, darling.
We, bloggers, tend to get carried away by trying to reach a specific amount of  social media followers, page-views and putting up a certain number of times a week which takes away the fun from blogging and turns it into a competition. Set realistic goals and enjoy yourself.


3. Don't Lose Yourself
Life and your happiness superseeds everything else, best believe. I know no matter what you can do, its very important to check in with yourself when you're trying to balance things out your job and blog. Take your time out to be sure if you're happy and not missing out on life. The most important thing to prioritize is your happiness. Remember when you're happy your work will be better.

i got to work quite late yesterday, thanks to the flooded roads and traffic, got me wondering where our summer went! 

I'm here hoping it doesn't rain this weekend cos i got a whole lot planned. Its also becoming harder and harder finding fun things to do in this weather or even staying awake at work, when you just want to be cuddled up in bed netflix-ing or sipping some hot chocolate.

Happy Monday! Why do i feel like the weekend lasted only 5 minutes?

For Lovers of everything Jumpsuit and career inspired fashion, like me, the utility fashion trend is not new at all.

This is used for creating a statement in the most practical, masculine and maybe the most cumbersome piece of clothing.

On the SS17 runway, Designers like Kenzo and burberry gave us inspired versions from various shades of khaki making this trend appear very tricky to pull off, which is far from the truth.

This look is very flattering on every body type and can easily transform from day to night when paired with the right accessories (or colours).

Many of this season's designs are very versatile, its not just the good ol' khaki anymore, there are denim, colours, silk versions and button downs, giving you an option of having these buttons done up for the ultimate workman chic look or popping a few open for that sultry night look.
Whatever your style is, there's some janitor vibe for everyone!

 For a snazzy daytime look, pair your suit with your go to pumps and a tote or a backpack and sneakers (cool kids yo!) - don't forget your military-inspired aviators.

And for the night time, Switch it up with some strappy or statement heels or a silk scarf to balance out the extra cleavage (that might be poppin' out). Also a great way to add some colour to the mix.
